Jo Anne Calandrelle

With more than 35 years experience working as a paralegal in Maryland, Jo Anne Calandrelle is highly skilled in assisting clients through all phases of their case from start to finish. She has developed excellent soft skills of assisting clients with care and compassion, effective communication, and well-honed work habits.

While Jo Anne’s experience is mainly in personal injury, she previously worked in wills & estates, family law, real estate transactions and related litigation, civil litigation, corporate, guardianships, liquor licensing and collections. Her years in the trenches fine tuned exceptional analytical skills, time management, document drafting, and client relations. Being productive and getting the work done is extremely important to her, while treating clients with respect, care and concern is a top priority.

Jo Anne began her career at age 18 as a receptionist at a local law office and was promoted to legal assistant within several months. She worked for several local attorneys, including Arthur Schneider. It was Mr. Schneider who spent over 16 years meticulously training Jo Anne which launched her into the next sphere of her skillset. Upon Mr. Schneider’s retirement, she became a paralegal to AJ Serafini. She followed Mr. Serafini to his solo practice where she continues to learn and grow as a senior paralegal.

Jo Anne is a lifelong resident of Washington County. She is a graduate of Hagerstown Community College with an A.A.S. degree in Business Administration. She was inducted in Phi Theta Kappa Society. She volunteered in the past with Big Brothers Big Sisters. She attends Otterbein Church in Waynesboro. She has 2 grown children and resides in the greater Hagerstown area with her husband. When she isn’t busy working, she enjoys spending time with family & friends.
